HIVE ALIVE : Early Years - Level 2

Students will explore the different roles within a beehive. Taking on the role of a Queen bee, guard, cleaner, wax producer, or forager bee, we aim to engage students through play and instil within them a desire to care for bees. This provides the students with an awareness of how honey is produced, as well as an understanding of simple bee biology.

A honey tasting completes the fun and provides students with emerging knowledge that bees pollinate plants from different environmental areas.
