The Experience

Go beyond the honey tasting counter and join the team for a 90-minute immersive journey that will tantalise your taste buds and leave you with a newfound appreciation for bees and honey! Uncover the wonderful world of bees and sample a curated range of Beechworth Honey products including honey, confectionary, drinks, and skincare. You will be amazed as you learn about the complex and critical work of the honeybee. 

Begin your experience with an interactive live beehive talk and witness the magic of a thriving bee colony firsthand.  

The tasting experience begins with our sparkling honey drinks, followed by specialised honey tasting where you will try a selection of our 40 different honey varietals. Pair honey varietals with artisan cheeses, discovering how their complex and contrasting textures and flavours create an explosion on the palate. Indulge in honey-inspired confectionery and chocolates, a delightful detour into the world of sweet innovation.

Complete your experience by pampering your skin with luxurious beeswax skincare products, letting the natural goodness of honey and beeswax nourish and revitalise. Finally, take home a sweet souvenir, hand-roll your own beeswax candle, a fragrant reminder of your Beechworth Honey experience.

Enter via the black iron gates. Please arrive 10 minutes before the session start time. 

Please note: This experience is located at Bee School by Beechworth Honey and NOT at the Beechworth Honey Shop. 

Additional Information: 

• All Things Beechworth Honey is capped at a maximum of 24 people. If you require a session with greater numbers, please contact us and we will do our best to accommodate your group.
• It is your responsibility to advise Bee School guides if you have any special needs or allergies. Please note Bee School cannot guarantee a nut-free environment and also house a live beehive. 
• All areas of Bee School are wheelchair accessible, including an accessible toilet.
• Bus parking is available for drop off and pick up on Camp Street out the front of the Bee School gate. However, buses cannot park here for the duration of the session.
• If there is not a session available at your requested time please email groups@beechworthhoney.com.au to see if we can arrange one for you.
